Law 70 is Everyone’s Responsibility

Law 70 prohibits the neglect and abuse of domestic animals.  The law was written for the public, not just for rescue groups.  Every citizen has a duty to report mistreatment of animals to the authorities!  Law enforcement now accepts WhatsApp notifications, and requires a pin on Google Maps to tell the police where to go.  You can report anonymously.  You must document the situation with photos and/or videos, which you can send via WhatsApp.  DO NOT attempt to enter private property to remove an abused animal.  Only law enforcement officers can enter someone else’s property.  Do your part and report abuse and neglect!
