These cats and kittens are in foster care but NOT yet ready for adoption.  They may be too young, need time to gain weight, recover from illness or trauma, or need sterilization.  We do not adopt animals that are ill or unsterilized.  Watch the progress of these animals with updates here and on Facebook.  They will soon be ready to move into your home and heart!

Mommy is a feral cat who had a litter of kittens who have since been adopted.  Mommy is actually acclimating to people and is living inside in a foster home.  Every day she learns to approach her caregiver and socialize.  She is sterilized and healthy.  She just needs a bit more time to get used to humans.

Alberta Einstein and Her Kittens

Alberta Einstein is an iconic cat from the Big Daddy’s Feral Colony located in the back garden.  Alberta is so named because she’s freaking smart.  She has successfully evaded our traps, set out weekly, for 6 months!  Alberta got pregnant and went into labor, and for some reason that compelled her to enter a trap.  She was taken to a foster caregiver’s home, where she gave birth to 6 kittens.  Alberta is in excellent health because of the care she gets at Big Daddy’s, so her kittens are growing fast.  We will socialize and adopt the kittens. After the family is sterilized, Alberta will be returned to her beloved garden at Big Daddy’s.
